Hello.

I'm trying to make images appear when I hover over them, I'm setting _hover to the ID of the overlay image element, as explained in the manual. The problem I have is that the images don't appear in the application.

I'm attaching a screenshot of how I'm setting the file extension.

Thanks.

Hi All

I have added a url hotspot to my Pano2VR project, but when the window opens I am unable to scroll in the window when it opens in VRTourviewer...am I doing something wrong?  Any recommendations, tips or tricks?

Thanks

Hi Ruud.

Thankyou for the speedy reply!

No problems.  I ask because I am looking to add some gigapixels and panos that require restricted viewing because of my work that can't be viewed by the general public, eg: accident sites.

Tha panos work well, but I was having trouble with the gigapixels.  Thanks for the reply, I shall look at some alternatives.

Cheers
Brett

Hi Brett,

Zooming of gigapixel panoramas is not supported in VR Tourviewer unfortunately.

Zooming is possible with a regular (flat) web browser, also in the Quest Browser when viewing the page in non-VR mode, but I don't think it's possible in VR/immersive/360 mode as far as I know.
But I recommend asking that on the Pano2VR forum.

Hi All
Hope everyone is well in your part of the world.

Just a quick question regarding viewing a gigapixel panorama in VR Tourviewer. I have outputted a pano from Pano2VR and loaded that into my Quest 3...however I cannot zoom in on any area.

Can anyone point me in the right direction for the process to do this....if in fact we can do it?

I am working on a project which requires zooming in on details, if I can't do that via VRTourviewer can anyone point me in the right direction about how to do this...do I need to do this via a webpage?

Thanks
Brett

Due to changed html generation of Pano2VR (and possible changes made manually), VR Tourviewer can't always find the referenced .xml file in the index.html file.

Parsing of the index.html will be improved in the next update and will assume pano.xml if it can't successfully find a match. There's no release date set yet though.

Meanwhile the only option is to use a link to the pano.xml file directly.

Support / General Discussion / pano2vr link to html file
Last post by jeff3d - May 24, 2024, 14:20:44
Hi!

I'm trying to link between two different projects on a web server. I'm using verison 1.3.480 of VR Tourviewer and testing on a Quest 2.
I used this Guide to export the projects: https://www.vrtourviewer.com/docs/how-to-export-a-tour-with-pano2vr-for-vr-tourviewer/

as well as this guide for linking between projects: https://www.vrtourviewer.com/docs/link-to-tour/

The problem I'm running into is that it only works when the "Link Target URL" in pano2vr is set to the URL of the pano.xml file. From what I understand linking to the index.html file should also work so long as the pano.xml file exists in the same directory, it should be found. Am I misunderstanding how this works?
